I installed what you said, and my device manager is looking better now. To find the hardware ID, go to the device manager and click on the Network Controller device needing the driver. Then click on the Details tab at the top of the Network Controller window. I am getting more help from you than HP Support ever can help. Singapore cant help me more than I can help myself, think the helpdesk is outsourced to India, or perhaps it is just almost am now.
