Many signals come directly from the OMAP processor, so you can read about the function by looking at the processor data sheet. The spacers can be seen mounted on each corner of the Overo COM in the image below.
I used “bitbake linux-omap3” to build a kernel, copied it to microSD, and booted. Every Gumstix Overo acc COM has the same three connectors and each connector has the same signal pattern.

These pages summarize the connections and interfaces to Fumstix COM and expansion boards. Note that I haven’t been able to get MADC to work as a kernel module for unknown reasonsso it has to be compiled into the kernel. ADCs definitely work correctly on 2. Thanks for any help.
The Tobi has the same 40pin header as the Summit. Anyway, running mknod after every reboot is a messy kludge, but it at least gukstix. In reply to this post by amenon Hi Arvind, Try this patch.
After that your demo program worked without a hitch; I applied a voltage to an input and indeed its value changed a good sign, I’d say! Python — Hz, C — Hz 8 channels: I’ve CC’d the gumstix mailing list as well; hopefully others might find this useful as well.

Won’t have actual speed test results until we get there on our project though, probably a few weeks from now A list of the expansion boards for the Overo series is available at the store. This patch implements minimal MADC clock initialization. Anyway, thanks Hugo for your prompt and helpful reply! Here’s a summary of the sampling rates that we obtained with other channels. Each Gumstix Overo COM can fit on every expansion board of the Overo series, except with one or two exceptions noted on the product pages at www.
Hope that helps, -Jonathon — View this message in context: Hi Hugo or anyone That COM would then be turned over and connected into an expansion board, such as the Summit board shown on the left.

Any help on this is very much appreciated; If I can get adcs to work, I will be able to use my Overo for a new project. So far, so good.
